A subtle blend of neon blue and pale gray that separates on paper. Inspired by Pandora’s Box, this limited edition ink represents the hope that remains at the very end.
Wearingeul Hope is a fountain pen ink inspired by the myth of Pandora’s Box, where after all misfortunes were released into the world, only one thing remained: hope.
The color reflects this contrast through a subtle interplay of neon blue and calm pale gray, which separate naturally on paper, evoking the balance between chaos and stillness, loss and possibility.
On paper, the ink reveals beautiful shading, where the two tones coexist and create a dynamic yet refined writing experience, full of depth and narrative tension.
This ink is a 2026 April Fools’ Limited Edition, produced in only 2,000 pieces, and features a unique concept: although the bottle has a 30 ml capacity, it intentionally contains only 10 ml of ink. A symbolic interpretation of the myth, where after everything has escaped, only a small amount of “Hope” remains.
Please note: the 10 ml fill is an intentional design choice and not a defect or a used product.
Wearingeul interprets, expresses, re-designs art works with fresh & modern insight. Art works such as literature, music and so forth, which are visually amorphous and vague, are the main sources of Wearingeul projects.
Wearingeul does not simply imitate the original art work but infuses modern design and own account into the originality. Through synesthetic approaches, Wearingeul designs the invisible art works into the design arts which people can see, sense, and even smell. Wearingeul always challenges to the nebulosity and obscurity of art works.
