As Winter is now upon us, more or less, depending on where one is in this large country we would just like to remind you that while we will continue to ship ink throughout the Winter, it is definitely a case of buyer beware. Penablers will do everything we can to protect inks from freezing, which may include decanting some ink from full bottles to alleviate the possibility of glass cracking due to freezing. We will also wrap orders well in insulating material to further protect the ink, but in our climate all efforts may be in vain, depending on temperatures on the parcels journey. Historically samples do well being frozen, and there is no evidence that the freeze thaw cycle is harmful to the ink, but full glass bottles are a bit more susceptible to damage.
Orders placed are only “submitted” for review. The wide range of products and associated different shipping costs make automating the entire process a nightmare. . Orders submitted for review are checked for stock and correct shipping tier selected, and then confirmed. Local pickup is St. Catharines, Ontario.
