The Kyanite du Népal ink is the third ink in the J. Herbin 1798 Inks Collection. 1798 commemorates a special year in the history of Herbin, and a turning point in the history of France. Carnelian is a precious stone and a variety of chalcedony, family of agates, orange-red. In ancient Egypt, the Carnelian represented the red symbol of life. In lithotherapy, it is a joyful stone that brings vitality. It restores courage after hardships and intensifies concentration.

J. Herbin is the oldest name in pen inks in the world. M. Herbin created “The Jewel of Inks” in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris in 1700.
