PASPIERE CREAM is a book paper developed for smooth [feel] and [ease of turning]. [Passepied” is a classical dance with light steps that became very popular in Paris in the 17th century. It is thought to express the “feel” of Passepied cream and the “lightness” of turning pages. The opacity of the paper has been increased for book use in order to make it difficult to see through the writing on the back page. (Paper thickness: 79μ, opacity: 90%) In a fountain pen test conducted by Yamamoto Shigyo, the nib ran smoothly faster than the ink came out of the nib. Therefore, when writing quickly, the letters tended to blur. Therefore, we recommend writing slowly. Even with low-viscosity ink, we did not see any back-out or blurring. Oil-based markers tend to bleed through.
