Smooth Art Paper has a white pigment coated on the surface of the base paper. The main ingredients of white pigment are kaolin clay (white clay) and calcium carbonate (limestone). This coating effect makes the paper surface texture and writing smooth. We have confirmed some blotting and back-through with dye-based inks, but we hope you will enjoy this smooth writing experience with a variety of inks.
